Captain Wayne Senteno, an avid angler with a lifelong passion for Florida waterways, founded El Cazador Fishing Charters after years of mastering local waters. Nicknamed “Hunter” as a young boy, he honed his skills in Florida, then as El Cazador (spanish for “the hunter”) in Nicaragua. Wayne has since brought his expertise back to Jacksonville Beach.

 

Captain Wayne’s spirit shines through every day as he pursues his dream of running a fishing charter on the waters he knows and loves—the exceptional intracoastal, endless rivers, and great Atlantic Ocean around Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

EL CAZADOR ORIGINS

Immersed in fishing from a young age, the natural choice for Wayne was becoming a licensed Charter Captain.

 

El Cazador’s journey began with Captain Wayne’s deep-rooted connection to the outdoors, honed during his upbringing and further cultivated during his time in Central America. It was there, amidst the pristine waters of Nicaragua, that Captain Wayne’s love for fishing and adventure flourished, leading him to establish a charter business now known as El Cazador – “The Hunter.”

 

Upon returning to Jacksonville Beach, Captain Wayne brought the spirit of El Cazador with him, infusing it into every aspect of his charter service. El Cazador embodies the essence of adventure and camaraderie on the open water.
